Ski and snowboard holidays in Ordino, Andorra
The attractive village of Ordino is an ideal and relaxed base for ski holidays in the Vallnord sector of Arcalis. It is not the closest village to the skiing located at Arcalis, but Ordino is certainly one of the prettiest and most authentic and is one of a number of villages located on the mountain road up to Arcalis.
Arcalis itself has no accommodation and is essentially a ski station high up in the mountains. The skiing there offers some of the best snow and least crowded ski pistes in the whole of Andorra. Much of the terrain is suited to beginners and intermediates although there is a terrain park as well as an enclosed childrens learning area. The area over by La Coma offers a wonderful escapist / wilderness feel to it and the runs back around to Arcalis are easy being blue or green classified.
